By using the Food Response and Food History features, you can log your meals, add tags like “breakfast,” “pasta,” or “meatballs,” and compare different meals to see how they affect your glucose levels. This helps you learn which foods are best for your body, so you can stay healthy and perform your best.

We use Beep to keep an extra eye on our dietary intake to ensure everything aligns well and that glucose levels are stable both day and night. It greatly facilitates not having to worry about low energy levels during training sessions. There’s always an explanation for how you feel, and I believe this can help one relax more and focus better on swimming.

A couple of times when I thought I knew, I was wrong. One day after a tough swim session, I thought I was really low, but the glucose level was normal, so I guess I was just low on energy, not sugar. I have trained and competed a lot over the past 10 years and have noticed that my recovery needs have increased significantly. This has changed my approach to performance, but it has also made me very interested in understanding what affects the body. Using Beep and measuring around the clock is very useful in my opinion. Of course, you should replenish with the right amount of energy during races, but for me, it is just as important to monitor how I feel the other 95% of the time.
